Premises Status Module (Add-In)

 

With the new release of Rest, as an Add-in module, you can set a status for each properties and or units.  Status is a flag, which will indicate whether a premise is available for lease, or it’s under Renovation etc.

 

You can setup status type using Tools\Premises Status type menu.  The following form will be displayed (figure 1.1)

Here you can add, edit, or delete premises status type. 

§   Allow Lease: 

if it’s checked for a status the properties/units under this status will be available in the Agreement Creation wizard.  If this check box is disabled, the properties/units marked by this status wont’ appear while you are creating agreements even if it’s vacant.

 

§   Allow Renewal: 

Once an agreement is made for premises and after that you applied a status and the status is not “Allow Renewal“ to those premises, then the use will not be allowed to renew the Agreement.

 

§   Allow Maintenance: 

If marked then the premises under these status will be available to select in the Maintenance wizard.

 

§   Allow Owner Contract: 

If marked then the premises under these status will be available to select in the Owner Contract wizard.

 

§   Hide in System: 

If marked then the premises under these status will not be shown in the system,

 

§   Hide in Reports: 

If marked then the premises under these status will not be shown in the Reports,

 

 

To remove a status mark the row, then press “Del” key.

 

Apply Status

 

You can set the status of premises using this module.  Choose Edit\Apply Status menu.

Here you can list all premises or units of a selected property or with a particular status.  Specify Property/Units, select a property, or specify particular status then click “Show” button, will give you a list with the current Status.

 

You can do single or multiple selection using Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click.  Then select a new status that you want to apply to the selected ones, and click Update button. This will change the status of selected premises with the newly selected status.

 

If you are applying the status to a property, all the units belongs to that property will be updated with the new status.

 

 

Other Modified Forms

 

Setup \ Units:

Edit unit form is modified with Status.  You can set status for individual units using Edit\Units form.  When you are adding a new units the default status will be “Lease”
